Board of Directors

The Authority is governed by a board with representatives appointed from each member community - the City of Algonac, Clay Township, and Ira Township. All board meetings are open to the public.

Attend a meeting

All meetings for SMUA will be held at the City of Algonac 805 St. Clair River Drive Algonac, Michigan 48001. Residents of all three communities are welcome. Agendas are posted in advance and minutes afterward.

Public comment

Residents may address the board during the public comment portion of any regular meeting, or reach the office directly with questions and concerns.
